Staff paper for every kind of musician
Staff paper (also called manuscript paper or blank sheet music) has sets of five horizontal lines for writing notes. This generator draws each page fresh, so you can print exactly what you need:
- Standard staff with a treble, bass or alto clef, or no clef at all.
- Grand staff for piano, organ and harp.
- Guitar tab and bass tab, or notation with tab underneath.
- Chord boxes above the staff for songwriters.
- Extra-large staves for young beginners and people with low vision.
Printing tips
- Match the paper size to your printer's paper: US Letter in North America, A4 almost everywhere else.
- If the lines look faint, turn on "Background graphics" or a higher print quality.
- For a notebook, print double-sided and hole-punch the left edge. Set the left margin in your print dialog if needed.

Can I make guitar tab paper?
Yes. Choose 'Guitar tab (6 lines)', 'Bass tab (4 lines)' or 'Staff + guitar tab' for standard notation with tab underneath.
